Helsinki Cathedral is the Finnish Evangelical Lutheran cathedral of the Diocese of Helsinki, located in the neighborhood of Kruununhaka in the centre of Helsinki, Finland at the Senate Square. The church was originally built from 1830–1852 as a tribute to the Grand Duke of Finland, Tsar Nicholas I of Russia.

Cathedral is so eye-catching. To get there you may need to take many steep stairs.Or go left - it would be easier ;) Inside cathedral is calm. It's obligatory to be here.Full review by aniahal

A very majestic looking square with the sculpture and cathedral in the background. Nice as a backdrop for photos. Some small restaurants around there as well.Full review by Erico2709

I think this is a super looking building, and watching the singers at the top of the steps on Independence Day with the building lit up was special. However, the inside of the building is a let-down …Full review by jw6969
