Nice and clean state park. The Atalaya Castle was interesting and worthy extra $2. Small amount of hiking trails. We'd didn't review the beach but the lookouts were cool.Full review by mrwoj1

Great beach, make to get a map an explore all of it and the fort. Drive slow along Mullet Pond, there may be an alligator or more sunning themselves.Full review by Gina N
How walkable is the park? We are using Uber instead of renting a car and curious about the walk from admissions office to beach and nature center? Thanks in advance.

We only walked on the beach, which was beautiful. I would call the ranger station and ask about the entire park's walkability. They were so friendly and helpful to us. The park is beautiful.
There is a parking lot with a walkway to the beach. It is not long. I would guess about 40 yards depending on how good your parking spot is on that day.
