We have come to Rosarito Beach the last four years. We stay at the Rosarito Beach hotel. The beach is easy to walk on. It’s very soft sand. There are a few restaurants along the beach. We always stop…Full review by Daniel S

This was my first trip to Rosarito Beach in 10 years so I was definitely out of “practice” and maybe I’m just older but will not be looking to return in the near future. As soon as we crossed the bo…Full review by Heather M

It is a fun place to spend a few hours, and some good hotels nearby. I liked it. I came with my fiance. There are a lot of people hawking trinkets, though.Full review by juanbravo1211
Hey Looking to book a trip starting in San Francisco to san diago and then fly from San Diego back to London. However looking to break the trip up by visiting Mexico Rosarito beach and stay here for a few days. Just thinking how and which way is easiest and safest to cross the border for a non American/Mexican. Many thanks Also any suggestions for things to do in both places and where to stay would be a great help for July 2020.

I've found that driving is the best way for me because it allows freedom to go where you like when there. You must find a car rental com. that allows you to bring their car into Mexico but there are many. It's important to recognize that on the drive back into the US, the line at the border can be very long. It's best not go on busy weekends. The roads are good though. Another far easier way to go, is there are a lot of drivers with nice cars that will pick you up in San Diego, drive you across the border, then down to Rosarito. $75-$125 per person but it makes it really easy and they'll stop wherever you want along the way. We stay ta the Hyatt in the Gas lamp Dist. and go from there. As I said really the easiest and they know how to get you through the entry line the fastest. To save on money you can take the trolley to the border then walk over, hire a driver in Mex to get you to Rosarito, then do the same on the way back in. The nicer places down there also have shuttle service to get you from the border, down. It's very fun and worth it.....enjoy yourself.
