Pricey for what amounts to little more than a view, but probably worth it for a first time visitor to Singapore. Save a few bucks by signing up for Sands players club.Full review by endoedibles

Absolutely amazing view over Singapore. Go about an hour before sunset it see the sights before the light goes, view the sunset & the lights afterwards. Recommend booking to get the slot required.Full review by BELMONTIpswich

Hi, thinking of booking tickets online a couple of weeks in advance as we will be there in sept at time of car race so expect it to be busy. But am worried that you have to pick a nominated time ie 1pm, 3pm - what happens if you turn up early or later, do they still regard these as booked tickets and allow you to skip the booking queue? Hard to stick to a schedule when sightseeing. I know it is timed bookings after 5 but am interested in earlier.

I think you are asking does it need booked in advance, like a lot of things in Singapore you do need to buy the tickets electronically to get a bar code. We did book the tickets onthe day though, seem to remember you booked for a time range which might have been more to do with COVID regulations, they do shut for lightning as well for safety reasons

Gardens by the Bay are near the hotel across Sheares Avenue. There are walkways from within the hotel via the MRT station area (underground) or the Shoppes mall (overpass across SHeares), or its possible to walk at ground level at the north or south sides of the hotel. The main overpass that drops you by the Dragonfly bridge is about 100m long, through the underpass by the MRT station is a little longer but airconditioned and its about twice the distance to walk ground level into the nroth side of the Gardens by the domes or the south side by Floral Fantasy,
