Stratton is a town in Windham County, Vermont, United States. The population was 440 at the 2020 census. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 46.9 square miles, of which 46.4 square miles is land and 0.5 square mile is water. Stratton Mountain is the high point of the town. Stratton Mountain Resort is at the northern end of the mountain. The community of Stratton Mountain comprises the base of the resort as well as residential development to the north in the town of Winhall.
