Bryan Kohberger's defense team has introduced evidence suggesting an "alternate perpetrator" in the 2022 murders of four University of Idaho students.

The defense team for the man accused in the stabbing deaths of four University of Idaho students plan to argue the possibility of alternative perpetrators at his upcoming murder trial, the judge confirmed during the last scheduled pretrial conference Thursday.

Bryan Kohberger's defense team claimed Thursday there are "alternate perpetrators" in the Idaho student murders case. His trial is set to begin in August.
