Nevada's Dina Titus takes aim at addressing the gambling tax details found in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act from President Donald Trump.

The casino and sports betting sector has its eyes on a controversial provision of the OBBB Act signed into law by Congress last week. Notably, the tax and spending bill limits the gambling loss deduction to 90% of losses beginning in 2026.

Whether the American public comes to see the “Big Beautiful Bill” as “beautiful” remains to be seen. A June 26 Quinnipiac poll found 29% of voters support the bill, 55% opposed it, and 16% did not have an opinion. What’s clear is that Democrats will hold the bill against Trump during the 2026 midterm election campaign season.

On a day of patriotic celebration at the White House, the president signed the “Big, Beautiful Bill” a signature policy bill that cements a collection of Trump’s campaign promises.
