According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the SpaceX Starlink 12-9 mission is set to liftoff during a window which extends from 1:50 p.m. to 6:21 p.m. EST Friday. Liftoff will be from Cape Canaveral's Space Launch Complex 40.

A National Weather Service dense fog advisory was in effect during the 5:15 a.m. EST liftoff for northern Brevard County and coastal Volusia County.

SpaceX is aiming for liftoff of its Falcon 9 rocket early Tuesday morning. The vehicle will send 21 Starlink satellites, including 13 with direct-to-cell capabilities, into low-Earth orbit. The satellites are used to increase the company’s internet capability to locations around the globe.
