Trump Gaza Peace Plan: In a major boost to US President Donald Trump's Gaza peace plan, the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has adopted a US-drafted resolution endorsing Trump's 'Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict', and also authorized the setting up of an international stabilisation force (ISF) to be stationed in the enclave.
The chair of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Committee on International Justice and Peace told OSV News he was heartened by a United Nations move to approve President Donald Trump’s plan to end the Israel-Hamas war in the Gaza Strip by installing international transitional governance and military forces there.
The U.S. is pushing the U.N. Security Council to support and enshrine Trump’s 20-point Gaza peace plan. But Israel, Hamas, Russia and others have objections.
