Peacock is developing a reboot of the NBC series Grimm from writer Josh Berman & exec producers David Greenwalt, Jim Kouf, Sean Hayes & Todd Milliner.

Josh Berman, the creator of Lifetime’s “Drop Dead Diva,” is writing the “Grimm” movie, which he is executive producing with the original series showrunners David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf, as well as original EPs Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner. Milliner’s Hazy Mills Productions and Universal Television are the studios behind the reboot.

After leaving the land of the living more than seven years ago, Grimm is planning a resurrection. The fan-favorite supernatural series made a name for itself on NBC’s Friday night lineup, overcoming the odds on the lowest-rated day of the week to become a long-running staple for NBCUniversal’s network.
