Projecting its national convener Arvind Kejriwal as the son of the soil, the Aam Aadmi Party is hoping to make a mark in the assembly polls in Haryana where it has not tasted any electoral success yet

Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Friday held a roadshow in Haryana's Jagadhri constituency in Yamunanagar district as he joined the campaigning ahead of the Assembly elections in the state.

Arvind Kejriwal launched an attack on the BJP candidate and Minister Kanwar Pal, saying he ruined the education system in Haryana.

Arvind Kejriwal kicked off AAP’s Haryana election campaign with a roadshow in Jagadhri, Yamunanagar. Covering key constituencies ahead of the 2024 assembly elections, Kejriwal’s 13-rally schedule targets local issues and aims for all 90 seats.

In the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, the Kejriwal-led outfit, which was part of the I.N.D.I.A. bloc, contested in alliance with the Congress from Kurukshetra parliamentary constituency. But its nomine Sushil Gupta, who is also state unit president and the party's best bet, was defeated by the BJP's Naveen Jindal by around 29,000 votes.

AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal will hold a 'Janta ki Adalat' on September 22. The party is gearing up for the February 2025 Delhi Assembly elections, emphasising grassroots organization and aiming for a significant electoral win.
