President Joe Biden announced Thursday the federal government will cover 100% of the disaster response to the Los Angeles fires for the next six months as first responders continue to battle the Palisades and Eaton fires following the successful containment of a fire that burned through the Hollywood Hills on Wednesday night.

The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation. Unlike the other fires, no mandatory evacuation orders were issued in association with the Woodley Fire. Newsweek reached

The 75-acre Woodley Fire sparked Wednesday morning near the Sepulveda Basin in the San Fernando Valley. The blaze is burning by the 101 and 405 freeways and is being driven by strong winds. Cal Fire reports that the flames pose a threat to crossing Burbank Boulevard.

According to Cal Fire, the blaze was initially reported at 75 acres, however, it was later revised to 30 acres.
