Papa John's International ($PZZA) stock was in the spotlight as it targets a “re-entry” into India, with retail sentiment staying ‘neutral.’ According to a Reuters report, Papa John’s is planning to make a comeback sometime in 2025 after exiting India nearly eight years ago.

India “remains a priority” and the company will open its first restaurants this year, a spokesperson for Papa John’s said by email. Under plans outlined in 2023, the company aimed to scale up to 650 outlets over a decade.

But under the proposals, bosses are hoping to open the restaurant until 3am on Sunday to Thursday and 5am on Friday
