Police are investigating a shooting at the Schnucks in Florissant.Florissant police confirmed to First Alert 4 that there was a shooting inside the Schnucks Cross Keys on New Halls Ferry Road before 1 p.

First responders were already at the grocery store at the time of the shooting, according to local fire officials.

FLORISSANT — A man on Monday afternoon was shot inside a Schnucks store, police said. The Florissant Police Department said the shooting happened at the chain's store at 13987 New Halls Ferry Road. Officers were called to the store and found a man who had been shot in the lower part of his body, police said. He's expected to survive.
