An incoming holographic transmission arrives from the secret unit's Section 31 director delivering their next dangerous mission and destination. This Control character is played by Michelle Yeoh's good friend and "Everything, Everywhere, All At Once" colleague Jamie Lee Curtis!

Section 31 concludes with the surviving members of the team meeting up on the Baraam station three weeks after they’ve saved the prime universe from a Mirror Universe invasion, and with the offer for Georgiou to once again sign up with the black ops organization as part of Alok’s group.

Section 31 introduces a new leader for Starfleet's secret intelligence organization, but their name makes no sense after Discovery.
