Valentina Shevchenko is UFC women's flyweight champion once again. Shevchenko defeated Alexa Grasso in the co-main event of UFC 306 on Saturday, taking a dominant decision after successfully executing a wrestling-based gameplan.

Alexa Grasso is no stranger to losing, but she is to Valentina Shevchenko.The most-recent of three Mexican-born UFC Champions, Grasso would defend her flyweight title for a final time at UFC 306 at Sphere during Mexican Independence Day Weekend.

Valentina Shevchenko and Alexa Grasso went five rounds in the Sphere and this time, there was no doubt about the winner.

After their 2023 rematch ended in a controversial draw, Valentina Shevchenko recaptured her flyweight title at UFC 306 with a dominant performance under the bright lights of The Sphere, with the scorecards reading 50-45, 50-45, and once again, 50-45 all in favor of ‘The Bullet’.
