Horror comedy "Stree 2" has become the highest grossing Hindi film of all time at the domestic box office with a collection of Rs 586 crore, the makers said on. Directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films,

The sequel follows the success of the original Stree (2018), which was a blockbuster. With cameos from Varun Dhawan and Akshay Kumar, Stree 2 has exceeded expectations, winning over audiences nationwide.

Trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh shared the latest box office figures of Stree 2, according to which the horror comedy flick has surpassed the lifetime collections of Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan,

The next major Hindi film that will give a competition to Stree 2 is Alia Bhatt’s Jigra and Rajkummar Rao’s own Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video both of which will release on October 11. Two weeks before that on September 27,

Stree 2 made the record with a collection of ₹586 crore. The film has surpassed the lifetime business of the Hindi version of 2023's Jawan.
