LINCOLN, Ala. -- In yet another close finish at a track notorious for them, Austin Cindric edged out Ryan Preece in a photo finish to win the Jack Link's 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. Cindric, the 2022 Daytona 500 champion and one of the best superspeedway racers in NASCAR, earned his first Talladega win and the third win of his Cup career.

This is Cindric's third career win and first at Talladega. Cindric took the lead after completing the fastest pit stop in the final stop of the race then held off the field and pushed his No. 2 Team Penske Ford past Ryan Preece to score the checkered flag.

Denny Hamlin and Larson have dominated the Cup Series recently, each winning two of the last four races. Hamlin grabbed back-to-back victories at Martinsville Speedway and Darlington Raceway, while Larson triumphed at Homestead-Miami Speedway and Bristol Motor Speedway.
