Passengers flying through Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on Saturday will experience delays as the Army celebrates its 250th birthday with a parade and flyover in Washington, DC.
The screening checkpoint for the 250th birthday parade will open at 2:00 p.m. EDT at 14th Street between Independence and Constitution Avenues, and C Street NW between 18th and 19th Street.
Washington, D.C.'s 2025 annual Pride parade included "furries," drag queens, children, and support from companies and religious organizations.
In addition to the roads that will be closed for the parade route itself, there will be some transit adjustments and some parking restrictions.
Hundreds of soldiers based in Georgia will participate this Saturday in the military parade promoted by President Donald Trump, a massive commemoration of the U.S. Army.
