A driver who was reportedly trying to evade state police hit multiple cruisers in Windham before being arrested on Tuesday night. Julian Ramos, 24, of Hartford is facing charges including reckless driving and evading an officer.

State police were notified of the vehicle fleeing a traffic stop in Windham. When trying to stop the vehicle, it fled the scene and struck 2 state police cruisers.

A driver was taken into custody after striking two state police cruisers during an escape attempt that led to a pursuit in Windham. State troopers at 10:24 p.m. learned that a motorist had fled from officers with the Willimantic Police Department when they tried to pull a vehicle over, according to Connecticut State Police.
