A deadly UPS cargo plane crash at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport triggered a temporary airfield shutdown, and could lead to delays.
Leeds Bradford Airport bosses are considering making a fresh bid to change the rules on night time flights. The airport has sent early proposals to Leeds City Council, which could replace the existing restrictions. An appeal against a decision to limit the number of night flights was previously launched by the airport, but was rejected in July.
Video showed flames on the plane’s left wing and a trail of smoke. The plane then lifted slightly off the ground before crashing and exploding in a huge fireball.

Most flights at the San Diego International Airport (SAN) were delayed an average of 59 minutes on Sunday, Nov. 2 from several major airports around the country due to lack of staffing, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, Cleveland, Denver, Seattle, Boston, Miami, Indianapolis and more, according to the FAA.
In a statement released today, UPS officials provided additional information about the pilots who were killed in the Louisville flight crash.
