Warming into the 70s today, a chance of showers show tomorrow and then we cool back down Saturday. A warm front arrives Sunday bringing a round of thunderstorms Sunday. The Arctic Blast arrives Monday with coldest air of the season/year.
The Arctic air mass is expected to arrive just ahead of this weekend, followed by an increasingly likely snowfall on Sunday into Monday.
Some plants, like avocado trees, grow stronger and more cold hardy as they mature. They also become more difficult to cover.
