A cold front sinks south into Arizona today, bringing gusty winds, cooler temperatures and precipitation chances.

Arizona will get rather quiet weather for the weekend, although there will be clouds and breezes from time to time.

Continued rain chances, cooler temperatures, gusty winds, hail and lighting were expected to linger in the Phoenix area through Friday, according to the National Weather Service in Phoenix.

“There’s a cold front actually out there right now in western Arizona that’ll be moving ... with higher amounts in some areas. Anything over 0.02 inches at Phoenix Sky Harbor International ...
