The new Comerica Park sign on the stadium’s scoreboard and the filling in of the dirt “keyhole” between the pitcher’s mound and home plate aren’t the only changes baseball fans can expect when they arrive for Opening Day 2025 on April 4.

The Detroit Tigers are gearing up for their first home game of the season when the Chicago White Sox make their way to Comerica Park on Friday, April 4. Detroit will spend the first week of the season on the road playing its first two series against the defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers and the Seattle Mariners.
