Leaders in Manatee County plan to take up whether to remove fluoride from drinking water, while Pinellas County commissioners expect to hear from activists during their meeting Tuesday.

A bill that would repeal a state mandate to include fluoride in water systems across Arkansas is up for discussion in a Senate committee Wednesday.

In Buffalo, New York, city officials recently brought fluoride back online following a class action lawsuit from residents. The suit was filed after an investigative reporter found that the city had not been adding fluoride to its water for nine years, unbeknownst to residents.
