(WOWT) - A statewide tornado drill is scheduled for both Nebraska and Iowa on Wednesday morning. The drill will be conducted through the NOAA’s Hazard Weather Radio at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
125 tornadoes touched down in the state of Iowa last year breaking the record set in 2004 at 120 tornadoes. Nebraska saw 115 tornadoes last year, just shy of the record of 116 set in 2004 as well.
