Nashville, Tenn.-based shoe charity Soles4Souls and Lehigh Safety Shoe Co., Nelsonville, Ohio, have teamed up to provide an easy way to trade in used safety shoes and boots to help people in need.

He was co-founder and owner of Lehigh Valley Safety Supply, Allentown, for the last 16 years. Previously, he was the president of Lehigh Safety Shoe Company, Emmaus, for 30 years, retiring in 1978.

Griswold was president of Safety First Shoe Co., Allentown, from 1961 until retiring in 1984. Before that he was vice president and general manager of Lehigh Safety Shoe Co., Allentown, 1943-60.
