Iran has warned the United States that any major strike could ignite a full-scale war across the Middle East, and the U.S. Navy answered almost immediately by moving the USS Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group toward the region alongside multiple guided-missile destroyers.

Iran states any attack will be met with an all-out war response.
