MOORHEAD — The Moorhead Police Department has issued a new plea for information about the unsolved killing of local college student Tom “Tommy” Bearson, exactly 10 years after the crime occurred.

The agency is also reviewing DNA evidence in the death of Tom Bearson previously collected to utilize advancements in DNA technology.

Moorhead police are still seeking clues in the homicide of 18-year-old Tom Bearson a decade ago. The Sartell native was attending college in Fargo when he was killed.

It's been 10 years since Tom Bearson was last seen alive. A decade later, the Moorhead Police Department says it is still searching for answers about what happened.
