NFL Reportedly Approves Rule Changes for Expanded Replay and Regular-Season OT
While most of the focus was on potential NFL rules is on the future of the tush push, the league has reportedly approved two other changes for the 2025 season. Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, league owners voted in favor of allowing both teams to possess the ball in overtime and expanded replay assistance.

At the NFL league meetings on Tuesday, a few rules changes were passed, according to Ian Rapoport. One is that the postseason overtime rules will now be coming to the regular season, which allows each team an opportunity to possess the ball.
