NYC weather: Winter storm timeline for accumulating snow Tuesday, Wednesday
Goodman explained that as New York City rests on the northern fringe of this winter system, areas further south are more likely to see elevated snowfall amounts. As of Tuesday morning, Staten Island is forecast to receive 2 to 3 inches of accumulation from this storm, according to Goodman.
