We spoke with two nursing programs in the Lowcountry about the impacts they could see and their message to the nursing community.

Nursing education is, by every meaningful standard, a professional education pathway. Students complete years of rigorous academic coursework, immersive clinical training, and competency-based preparation under the direction of state boards and national accrediting bodies.

How long does it take? Once in the nursing program, choose from three bachelor's degree options ranging from 12 to 16 months in length. Open to all active students who have a high-school diploma or higher and have completed the nursing prerequisite courses.
