While the excitement is there for the first preseason game in franchise history, it’s also an opportunity for the players to continue preparing for the upcoming season. The first regular-season game in Utah history is Oct. 8 against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Utah Hockey Club fans will be able to represent their new team with inaugural-season jerseys as early as November, the organization has announced. The official uniforms will be sold in the Utah Hockey Club team store as well as uhcteamstore.com.

Delta Center now is the home to the Utah Hockey Club. The team opens its first training camp Thursday after 28 seasons in the Phoenix area as the Coyotes.

The Utah Hockey Club plays this weekend. It’s just the preseason, but fans will finally get to see the team play NHL-level hockey starting on Sunday. The team will travel to Des Moines, Iowa to play the St.

We want to make it our No. 1 priority to get our jersey in the hands of fans as quickly as possible so that they can wear it proudly and enjoy it for as much of our inaugural season as possible,” Utah president of hockey operations Chris Armstrong said Friday.
