Director and musician Rob Zombie, seen here in 2019 with wife Sheri Moon Zombie, has shared a look at the cast of his upcoming “Munsters” adaptation, which stars Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman ...
The Munsters premiered in 1964 and focused on the home life of a group of friendly monsters. It ran for 70 episodes over the next two years and was followed by several made-for-TV movies.
If some of the original cast agreed to be involved, it appears that this return to 1313 Mockingbird Lane is a trip worth taking. See for yourself by streaming Rob Zombie's The Munsters on Netflix now.
During his solo career as a musician, Zombie also had a top-10 hit Billboard hit with his 1998 song “Dragula,” itself inspired by one of the automobiles featured on “The Munsters” TV series.
The roles were originated in a 1960s TV series by Yvonne De Carlo, Fred Gwynne, and Al Lewis, with Butch Patrick and (depending on the season) Pat Priest or Beverley Owen as Eddie and Marilyn Munster.
