GREEN LAKE COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A 700-800-acre wildfire in Green Lake County is 100% contained, the DNR confirms. The Big Island Fire broke out in the White River Marsh State Wildlife Area around 4:15 p.m. Monday.

In an update late Tuesday morning, the DNR said the 750-acre Big Island Fire in the White River Marsh State Wildlife Area in Green Lake County is now 100% contained as of midnight.
