ARIZONA -- The Denver Broncos play host to the Arizona Cardinals later tonight for the second week of preseason activities - though prominent starters for neither team will be suiting up at Mile High.

He was a man of his word. On the first play from scrimmage, Stidham hit running back RJ Harvey in the flat for a couple of yards. On the second play, Stidham rolled out and found Engram on a drag — and the free-agent tight end promptly went galloping down the right sideline for 58 yards.

Broncos coach Sean Payton said Thursday that Nix and the majority of starters won't play during Saturday's preseason game against the Cardinals, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports. Payton also said that Nix and the starters would play somewhere in the range of 8-10 snaps during Denver's preseason finale against New Orleans on Saturday,

The Cardinals' preseason broadcast team will have Dave Pasch and Sam Acho calling the game from the booth with Dani Sureck on the sideline. However, if you watch the NFL Network broadcast, because the Broncos are at home, the home TV broadcast will air with Steve Levy and Ryan Harris on the call.
