Shots fired into Lake Oswego home of Oregon worker’s comp insurance CEO
The shooting happened on Melrose Place, where Chip Terhune, the chief executive of Oregon’s nonprofit worker’s compensation insurance company, lives, according to police and public records. Police said the shooting caused “minor damage” to the home, including to the front door, and that no one was injured.

Gov. Tina Kotek is responsible for appointing the five-member SAIF board, which in turn hires and supervises the insurer’s CEO. Kotek’s spokeswoman, Elisabeth Shepard, says the governor’s office is aware of the incident but cannot comment because of the ongoing law enforcement investigation.
