The "No Kings" protest and march happening in Philadelphia on Saturday coincides with hundreds of rallies scheduled to take place across the country.
On June 14, progressive organizers in Oklahoma plan peaceful protests in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, coinciding with Donald Trump’s birthday, Flag Day, and the U.S. Army’s anniversary, aiming to challenge perceived authoritarianism and advocate for democratic values.
In Delaware County, a rally will be held at the County Courthouse in Media from noon to 1 p.m. A group intends to rally at Route 320 and Baltimore Pike from 1 to 2 p.m. in Springfield, and a third group has received a permit to protest in Haverford Township at Eagle Road and Sunnyhill Lane.
The Houston demonstration is one of several planned in the region throughout the day and is expected to draw thousands of protesters.
