A power cut halted Formula One's pre-season testing in Bahrain on Wednesday with Ferrari's Charles Leclerc top of the afternoon timesheets after Mercedes rookie Andrea Kimi Antonelli set the morning pace.

Kiwi Formula One Liam Lawson driver has had a full day of testing in his new Red Bull car covering the third most laps in Bahrain this morning without incident after a dramatic spin on day one. Teammate and defending Formula One champion Max Verstappen took the day off as Lawson got around the track 91 times to post the seventh-best time of the day.

Carlos Sainz showed Williams have found some speed over the winter by going fastest in the second day of pre-season testing in Bahrain.
