Former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith is looking forward to a fresh start. Smith, who spent the past five seasons with Seattle, was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders where he will be reunited with former head coach Pete Carroll.

Geno Smith made his first public comments since the Seahawks traded him to the Raiders last month, detailing why things stopped working for him in Seattle.

Smith's decision certainly paid off, as he hit the jackpot with a two-year extension worth up to $85.5 million with the Raiders. While Smith has landed on his feet just fine in Las Vegas, he remains a consummate professional, and he mentioned during his press conference he harbors no ill-will towards his former team.
