It is also the 40th drawing of this current run, and the jackpot is the largest since it reached $1.269 billion on December 27, 2024, when someone in California scored the winning numbers.

The jackpot for tonight’s Mega Millions drawing has just been increased to an estimated $980 million, according to the Virginia Lottery.

The Sheboygan winning Mega Millions ticket was enhanced by a built-in Multiplier that turned a $10,000 Mega Millions prize into a $20,000 win, Wisconsin Lottery said. The winning ticket matched four of five numbers (16-21-23-48-70) plus the Mega Ball (5).
