Ohio State walk-on defensive end Caden Davis, a Mason High School grad, is no longer on the team, a school spokesperson confirmed.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Walk-on defensive end and content creator Caden Davis is no longer with Ohio State football. The news was first reported by The Lantern on Wednesday morning with OSU football’s Sports Information Director Jerry Emig confirming Davis' departure.

Ohio State is preparing for the National Championship but will be down a player after dismissing defensive end Caden Davis ahead of the title tilt. Noah Weiskopf of The Lantern first reported the news of Davis' dismissal. The school confirmed that Davis was no longer an "official Buckeye athlete" but did not reveal the reason why.
