Tottenham Hotspur faced a disheartening loss against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Super Cup final on August 13. After being tied 2-2 at the blow of the final whistle, the match went straight to a penalty shootout, where the French side bagged a 4-3 victory over Spurs.
