INDIANAPOLIS — Josef Newgarden beat teammate Will Power in the finals of the Indianapolis 500 pit-stop challenge on Friday, giving the whole of Team Penske something to feel good about after a trying week leading up to “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.”

Will Power is ready to turn the page to the 109th Indy 500, which during qualifying saw his car pulled for a modified attenuator that led to a Team Penske shakeup.

Josef Newgarden was tight-lipped about the Penske executive dismissals. Will Power, on the other hand, did not hold back.
