Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young has had his share of ups and downs during his first two years in the NFL, but as 2024 wrapped up, it became clear that the former No. 1 overall pick has silenced many doubters. Among his growing list of admirers? Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons.

According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero, "Sources: Mike McCarthy is out as #Cowboys coach. The sides couldn't agree on length of contract and McCarthy will pursue other opportunities. He leaves Dallas with a winning record and three playoff appearances."

As with every other team in the NFL, the Panthers need to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the 2025 NFL Draft and address their needs in free agency accordingly in order to avoid reaching for a player of need when better prospects are still on the board.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has released a statement giving more details about why the team decided to part ways with head coach Mike McCarthy. Dallas decided to move on from the veteran head coach early on Monday.

The Bears announced they have completed a head coach interview with Packers offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich.

Under the command of head coach Wade Phillips, the NFC East champions had dusted Tom Coughlin’s team twice during the regular season, 45-35 at Dallas, and 31-20 at East Rutherford. Dallas owned a 13-3 record, and was the NFC’s top seed entering the playoffs, and took on a Giants’ club fresh off a 24-14 wild card win at Tampa.
