A 14-square-block area of the French Quarter has been designatied an “enhanced security zone,” where ice chests will be prohibited.

A winter storm sweeping through the U.S. South on Tuesday was dumping snow at levels millions of residents haven’t seen before.

Over 10 inches of snow has been reported in Louisiana as a historic, unprecedented snowstorm slams the South. The snow is falling across Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Florida, bringing many roads to a standstill.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WVUE) - The French Quarter will have enhanced security checkpoints for the upcoming Super Bowl LIX. Louisiana Gov.
