Netflix has revealed the start date for its B-ball comedy starring Kate Hudson and Brenda Song. The series about a Jeanie Buss-like woman (Hudson) who takes over as president of a Los Angeles basketball team will premiere Feb. 27. Expect 10 episodes of the comedy from Mindy Kaling, Ike Barinholtz and David Stassen, who is the showrunner.

The short, developed in partnership with Mira Nair’s Salaam Baalak Trust, features Sajda Pathan — herself a beneficiary of the nonprofit — in a leading role. The production team spans Graves Films, Shine Global Inc (Oscar winners “War/Dance” and “Inocente”), Krushan Naik Films and Salaam Baalak Trust.
