HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Power has been restored to parts of East Oahu through Sunday night into Monday after heavy rains triggered massive outages from Hawaii Kai to Kaneohe. According to Hawaiian Electric’s outage map, nearly 17,000 customers from Hawaii Kai to Kaneohe were in the dark around 9 p.m. Sunday.

Remains found off Ke Iki Beach have been identified as those of missing teen Joseph "Joey" Fujioka, while the search continues for his girlfriend Samantha Chun.
