The train was heading to Delaware when services were halted near Crum Lynne due to the fire about 6:15 Thursday evening. Passengers on board were evacuated and waited at the stop for transportation to their destination.

The six-car train was carrying 350 people from Philadelphia to Wilmington when it caught fire. An image shared with Action News showed smoke billowing out of the train.
