A slow-moving, active storm system brought heavy rain, large hail and tornadoes to parts of Texas and Oklahoma and left three people dead as severe weather warnings Sunday continue to threaten parts of the south-central and Midwest U.

Two people died after their vehicle was trapped in floodwaters. Hail and strong winds were possible in parts of Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma on Sunday, forecasters said.

Flash floods led to two deaths in Moore, Oklahoma as severe storms hit parts of that state and Texas Saturday night. The storm system also spawned multiple tornado reports across both states.
